ENTROPION

Entropion is an inward rolling of the eyelids and can involve upper, lower or both lids. This can cause the lashes to rub against the cornea causing discomfort, infection and corneal ulceration. It can occur in any breed but is more common in Shar peis, chow chows, St. Bernards and many others. Persistent problems are corrected surgically.
