TOOTH EXTRACTIONS
We’d like to think that our pets are able to retain a complete set of healthy teeth throughout their lives. With good preventive care and regular teeth cleaning this may be the case but often, in spite of our best care, extractions are necessary to avoid chronic infection and pain.
Teeth are extracted only when they cannot be saved. Extractions never cause problems for our pets as they chew their food very little. Their teeth are designed for shearing and tearing, which commercial pet foods don't require. To not extract an infected tooth is to retain a constant source of infection and discomfort for your pet.
